Hello mikeley!
I also love horror movies and I recommend, The Descent, Wrong Turn, SAW(all of them), Friday the 13th, Halloween, Hostel 1 and 2.
Out of all the movies that I mentioned, I watch Wrong turn. If you haven't seen it you really should watch it. It's really creepy.

Saw was amazing. Saw II was decent. Saw 3, 4, and 5 (and 6 and 7 if the rumors are true) were HORRID. The same thing replayed with slightly new gore each time. The first one, the independent with the original writers, was original and the writing was absolutely flawless. 2 was good because they changed the dynamic from individual people to a group working to kill each other. After that it was just maximum spillage for the sake of spillage and the "plot," if you could call it that, got pushed to the back burner.

Well Slither is a pretty well-made movie i think , with elements of humor and horror , it was fun to watch. Feast was pretty good. The Mist is an unbelievable movie. Although it's not a horror movie , the german Das Experiment is amazing in my opinion with quite a few shocking scenes.

the mist is yet another gem penned the awesome mr stephen king, the master of horror and suspense. it is a great movie that remained pretty true to the book, i am a snob about that sort of thing. yeah there is suspense and terror and that what the H-E double hockey sticks is going on throughout the movie.

I suggest you watch frontiere and inside. They're not english language films but they're great. You should check them out. Inside most especially since it is quite disturbing and the film doesn't need a monster to scare you. It's the situation and how it's done will make you think and be scared for quite some time. It's quite brutal so if you have a weak heart, then i suggest you skip this film. It's a lot more brutal than saw and hostel.
