The title says it all. Do you have any weird sleeping habits? Me, I do! But that was when I was still young. Probably 3 years of age. My mom told me that sleepwalking was my hobby when I was little! I didn't know about that, really! She told me that I would sleepwalk and then approach her and ask her, "Where is mommy?". She told me she didn't answer but just laughed at my silly question. Come to think of it. I was asking my mom where my mom is! Haha, I probably didn't know what I was doing at that time.
She also told me that when I was little, my dad often tortured me by learning the different types of fishes. It was horrible the whole time he was teaching me because he often yelled at me whenever I didn't pronounce the words correctly. Haha! That's why I carried that habit til sleep. My mom told me that while I was asleep, I would cry then speak the names of the fishes I learned one by one! Haha! I was crying in my sleep too because I also often cried whenever father yelled at me the whole time he was teaching me those fish names.
How about you? Do you have any weird sleeping habits? Care to share your own experiences? That would be great! Thanks and happy myLotting!

I'm a pretty normal sleeper. No one has ever told me that I talk in my sleep and I don't sleepwalk. My only really bad sleeping habit is that I toss and turn and that always ends up as bruises for the person sleeping next to me! My poor fiance...lol.

Haha. You're pretty much like my little sister. She kind of has weight and whenever we're beside each other on my bed, she would move a lot. As in a lot. The result? She always ends up kicking me.. Oh poor me. I even fell off of the bed when she kicked me. Lol
Thanks for sharing and happy myLotting!

My nephew used to have some weird sleeping habits. I don't know if he still does or not but he used to talk in his sleep. He would also smack his lips. He and I used to sleep together when we were kids when he would come over to spend the night and you wouldn't believe some of the things he would say. I would get so tickled at him!Kathy.

I am an extremely normal sleeper. I sleep deep, don't snore, don't talk in my sleep, and have never sleep walked. My husband however, sometimes talk in his sleep. I can actually have a conversation with him sometimes when he is sleep walking, it is quite funny. He will also laugh out loud in his sleep. The oddest thing I ever did was wake up balling my eyes out.

Haha! That's a nice story friend! And wow, he can laugh out loud during his sleep? How unique is that! I haven't heard of laughing issues during sleep. That's quite odd. My sister only sleep talks. I can still remember when we were beside each other. She was sleeping and she was mentioning "Catholic.. Ramadan.." in her sleep. I laughed out loud after she said those. "Now where did those come from?" I wondered.
That was funny ladym33. Thanks for sharing! It made my day

I am just a tiny person who does not require plenty of airs while asleep. And also my stomach is not big enough to get in the way of me sleeping in this position, so far i think that is why i have the weirdest sleeping habit in the world, do you have other explanation, if yes, just shoot at me....

Wow, haha! You can sleep like that lampar? That's cool. Me, I won't be able to sleep like that because I'm scared of being suffocated. Haha! And when I'm like that, there's a tendency that I won't be able to breathe properly. It happened to me once and when I took the pillow off of my face, it's like I just came from a long swim or dive beneath the water.

One of my friends used to sleepwalk when she was younger. One day she found her hairbrush in the middle of the street in front of her house! Another time she woke up in her closet floor.
Apparently, I used to talk in my sleep. My mother has tried to talk to me while I was asleep and according to her, I was very agreeable. All I kept saying was, okay, sure, alright. In high school, a friend of mine called late and mom handed me the phone. I was asleep, but somehow managed to have a conversation with my buddy! The next day, she told me I had sounded like a zombie on the phone.

Haha lol! That friend of yours' childhood experience is very funny! That's quite strange though. How did her hairbrush ended up in the middle of the street? She brought it with her during her sleepwalk? Now where could've she gotten that night.. hehe.
I'm very much like you when it comes to phone calls. When my boyfriend called me up on my cellphone in the morning, I answered it then talked to him while feeling still really very sleepy. After the call, I drifted back to sleep again and when I woke up, I could not remember our conversation anymore! I couldn't even remember if he called me up already. Lol
Thanks for sharing inkstainedheart. That was a good story. Happy myLotting!

I guess I have strange sleep habits because I have a very strange sleep schedule, it changes day to day. I keep my thoughts and feelings pretty bottled up, I guess, too. When I am stressed or upset I often cry or moan like I am in pain while I am sleeping.
My husband has an annoying habit of shaking his whole body at irregular intervals. It is very disturbing to try to sleep while he does this, he doesn't even notice.

Oh I see.. I have an irregular sleeping schedule too, just like you. I sometimes sleep around 9pm when I'm really very tired and can't move anymore. But sometimes, I sleep at around 3am after watching Boys Over Flowers on CTV.. Haha. Talk about being an addict.
About your husband's habit, hmmm that's strange. But I think I know what that's called. I know how it's called in Tagalog but I don't know what it is in English.. hehe.
Thanks wendywhy and happy myLotting!

I used to have some weird sleeping habits when I used to be working as a call center agent. I have resigned from that kind of work two years ago as its not really healthy for me either. I used to talk when ever I sleep. There was a time when I sleep in my childhood friend's house and she tried to wake me up for dinner but I replied her with, "Thank you for calling AT&T, my name is Shelly... how can I help you?"
She laughed at me and just waited for me to wake up on my own. There was a time that my bf and I live together, he said I was laughing while sleeping. I remembered that I was laughing in my dream while talking to the customer over the phone.

Oh my, what hilarious moments! Haha pardon me Sophie but it really made me giggle when you said "Thank you for calling AT&T..." hehe! That's a very rare moment huh! I've heard some stories about people laughing out loud in their sleep. I didn't believe it at first though but now I know it's for real. I haven't experienced it though.

I see. Don't worry about what my father did to me a long time ago. I believe it's just normal to teach a bit of education to a child like me back then. After all, it's their responsibility to give us a good education, right? And I believe that he was just redying me for school once I enter it. I think it's his way of disciplining me. Thanks for the concern and happy myLotting

Yeah! I have many weird sleeping habits. Usually I'll place a pillow between my legs while sleeping. Else, I'll put either of my legs on a pillow. In dreams, I'll have different concepts. Sometimes I'll in my country's border, in military uniform, fighting with terrorists. Sometimes, I'll in my classroom, listening to my teacher's lectures, getting my corrected exam papers, reviewing my marks...

Oh, it's my habit to place my legs on a pillow too! But sometimes, I only place my feet above the pillow. Your dreams are kinda weird. Maybe it's because you want to be a soldier? Hehe! Almost every night, I dream of me being in school participating in oral recitations.. I don't know why. Maybe because I miss school already..
Alright, thanks for responding!

When somebody yells at me the way you said your daddy yelled at you, I have trouble sleeping at night. I get upset easy, anyway. Whenever somebody upsets me in any way, I don't get over it and I have trouble getting it off of my mind when it's time to go to sleep. I don't sleep very well, anyway, and I end up sleeping late of the morning. Sometimes I have insomnia. I go to bed late, too, because I always have so much to do. Yes, I do have some weird sleeping habits, lol. Kathy.

I see Kathy. Haha I'm like that too when someone yells at me or get mad at me.. I will carry that feeling until daylight. I won't be able to get over it until we talk to each other and fix things between us. I'm a sensitive person, I guess.
Sometimes I have insomnia too. Or should I say most of the time lol! I haven't had any normal sleep for the past 3 months up to now.. It's kind of freaking me out whenever I sleep at 7am haha!
Thanks Kathy! Happy myLotting!

As for me,i don't think i had any weird habits when i was little.
But,sometimes,i rolled down the bed,and i had no idea at all.If my parents did't found this, then when i was awake in the morning,i lied on the ground.

I see. You're just like my little sister! There would be times that upon waking up, we;d see her lying on the ground and soundly sleeping. I wondered how she fell without waking up? So weird.
Thanks for the response! Happy posting!

I usually sleeping normally, but my mom told me that when I was around 13 years old. I laugh when I sleep. Not laughing like 'ku ku, fu fu' but it was like 'ha ha ha ha ha', really loud and scary that I woke her up at night, she said. Now I don't do anything like that, but I don't stay still when I sleep. When I go to school camp, I always kick my friend that sleep next to me.

Haha! That sleeping habit of yours is kinda cute. People like you who laugh out loud in their sleep is kinda rare nowadays. I haven't experienced that but I think I'm the complete opposite of you because I cry in my dreams. And when I wake up, there are tears flowing down on my face.

I see.. so you're in love. Yihee! So who's the lucky guy? Hmmm... when girls are ion love, there's a tendency that they won't be able to sleep immediately at night. It's always possible for us girls to think of our beloved before drifting off to sleep. So.. how does it feel? Do you feel like floating in the air whenever you think of the times you had? Yihee.. Unfortunately, I won't be able to help you because I'm in love too. Haha! Just let your feelings flow.. That's my suggestion

Oh dear. I have really weird sleeping positions. My head is positioned towards the end of the bed and I don't use pillows, but I do have them on my bed. Most of the time, my body is perpendicular to the bed so that my legs are sort of hanging. That really gives me a good sleep. My mom finds 'em really weird and she goes that I'll have a hard time sleeping once I'm married because I definitely cannot sleep that way. Lol.
