I know now the name of this particular plant. It is called "flames of love". I love this plants foliage. Its leaves are about 2 inches long and an inch wide with pink and green color. It grows to about a foot tall. It is great as border or simply beautiful in a pot.

Plants ask too much time for nurture. I started planting last 2006 and I have a lot of different species now. I love different kinds of flowers with different shapes and different colors of leaves too. I have more than a hundred of different kinds of plants around our house.

Hello Mr.Plus. It is good that you know the name of the flower. There are still many flowers whose names are new to me. I have to say that I am not very good distinguishing plants from plants, but I love to see flowers and greens a lot.

Beauty can never be ignored. No matter how manly a man may be he will definitely stop to appreciate the beauty of a flower. I have been a plant lover since I was a child I first planted a tree when I was 10 and it is bearing fruits now. Now, I have different species of plants and nurture them with my green thumb.

As a plant lover, I may say you to provide more information about that plant. What is its botanical name and which type of climate it requires to grow? Kindly post details and thanks for this information!

I still don't have its botanical name. I promise I will tell you when I get across its name. It grows in a tropical climate and thrive on from 18 to 30 degrees F. It grows up to 1 foot tall. It loves water I water it everyday especially on hot summer days. Propagation is through tip cuttings.

These look like the plants that cover the islands (in the roads) in Baguio City, Philippines. I have always thought that they looked wonderful - I couldn't figure out if the pink leaf-looking part is really a flower or is simply a differently colored plant. "Flames of love" seems an appropriate name for it :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I haven't seen it in Baguio city. I first saw it in our nearby plant seller. I bought for its beautiful colored foliage and I wondered for some time how to propagate it. I finally found the way to propagate it and now I plant it myself and grow them in my backyard. I sell some too.
