I'm a little frustrated because I was going to go with friends to the midnight premier of the Half-Blood Prince on July 16/17 but now they moved it up to Wednesday instead of Friday and I can't go Tuesday night/Wednesday morning because of work. I can go here by myself but the friends I was going to go with are in another city about 200 miles away so going with them was kind of a big deal.
Does anyone know why, after all the trailers came out with July 17 and all the posters say July 17 they decided to release it on the 15th instead?

That would really be frustrating to think that you already set up your whole week especially your mind and body to watching HP and then boom! Schedule's changed. You have to reschedule and think of another thing to do to that vacant allotted time you have for HP. Hhmm..
Anyway, with th HP's reputation, it would take lots of weeks before it's over in cinemas. you can still have another date to watch it. I can't wait to see it. ENJOY the movie!! ;)

*sniff* I smell sarcasm! LOL
It's not that I am worried about not seeing it (other than the midnight premier thing is kind of a tradition...), more curious about why they moved it up two days. What does that accomplish?

Not sure why they moved it up, probably somebody leaked it and now they have to. My wife is excited to see it so I'll let her know.
