Is milk really necessary for children?

I keep hearing children need milk to develop.. What happens if they don't get enough? Maybe, without milk, it will become a Lilliputian? O_O

It all depends on who you are talking to, some will say it is not necessary while others will say that it is. My doctors have always told me that it is necessary, I give my children milk as well it is better for them than juice and sugar drinks.

Milk has a lot of calcium and protein. Both essential for bone and muscle development.

Regular milk could help children both mind and body. It really helpful for older people too. I think it is good for all age, even me, I still love drinking milk every night before bed time
