The above says it all. I am just wondering what others do to stop constant interruptions from, family, friends, relatives, pets, and you name it. I need some "MY TIME"! Help! I don't want to hurt anyones feelings so this is difficult for me.

You know, getting time for yourself is probably the most difficult task you could possibly encounter. And personally speaking I've always found it useful to be straight forward about when I need to be alone. Sure you're concerned that you might hurt someone by saying so, but believe me, family and friends understand.
Besides that you could just try an indirect approach. You could just mention in a casual manner how you're in a need of some time alone for yourself. Two three times you do that and you'll start to feel you're getting a bit more space for yourself.

I used to have the same problem. I started practicing a technique taught to me. Grab an item (anything) and talk while you have it in your hand, once you have passed it to someone else, your turn is over until you get it back. (Of course you want to do this in private with someone who wont make fun of you) But it works!! Hope I was of some help. I know the feeling.

Well, unfortunately, if you're home - you really can't avoid being interrupted by pets. In fact, you probably can't avoid being interrupted by your family either (or roommates - whoever you live with). You could either confront them about it - and let them know that it's not that you don't enjoy spending time with them, but that you need your personal space - and they should respect that. Otherwise, you could choose to not stay in the same area as them. For example, if you want some quiet reading time - you could consider going to a public library (and turn off your cell phone for an hour or two - or however long you need). Good luck!
