I am switching to a different carrier and wanted to see what cool phones they had. So I typed in google verizon phones and an article about how cell might cause Brain Tumors came up. I googled can cell phones cause cancer and alot came up. Nothing really had solid concrete proof, but it's still weird. Do you believe cell phones can cause cancer?

Weel, the tecnology is also bring negative impact to human being. About cancer i do not know about that.
However, to reduce the radiation effect usually i am using a wireless device when make a call.
I ever read is important to avoid or minimized radiation we must keep our cellphone quite far from head or an important part of our bodies.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I still can't believe our phones give out radiation. I just thought it was a great invention and took mine with me everywhere.

I think anything can cause cancer. It's absurd to exaggerate that cellphones cause cancer. Basically, the media has decided to bloat and overdo something again. Anything can cause cancer. Eating chocolate can cause cancer. Sitting by your computer can cause cancer. Sitting in front of a CRT OR LCD monitor can cause cancer. Cancer is basically something that happens when the cells in your body mess up. That's a very simple, laymen termed definition. And basically, it's a broad definition. Because anything in the environment (Inside you or outside yourself) can cause these cells to mess up.

I do believe that it is possible that cell phones can cause cancer but I don't think they are the main causes of it. With the advancement and the convenience of technology it does have it's downsides. For example, being exposed to all of the radiation and frequencies that most of these electronic devices require and make. I am positive there has been some studies to confirm whether or not cell phones cause cancer or not but I am sure there still isn't any concrete evidence on the findings.
