Mine is old but it does have a pillowtop. some nights I toss and turn and cannot get comfortable at all. I keep waking up and looking at the clock. I have tons of pillows and a comfy quilt too.
Last night we had the opportunity to stay in a suite at a local 5 star hotel and the bed was heavenly! Can I tell you that fell right asleep and stayed that way all night. and - I did not even turn over! It was so comfortable.
The hotel had a sign that they sell the sheets for $345 USD - and that is just NUTS!
I would never pay that much for sheets plus the bed was probably the key to the better nights sleep.
What do you think? Is it the bed that makes it a great nights sleep? The pillows? The sheets? Do you use a sleep machine (white noise) to help you?

Hey Trvl, I do have a superb bed! In fact I think its the best bed in the world. Its a king size bed, with beautiful set of double duvet matching the ten fluffy pillows and a extra large quilt. And the best part is that I get to sleep like a big baby on it all by myself! So I got no-one to fight over the sheets and space for! I always have peaceful sleep nights..
Hotel beds usually are very comfy and well worth the money you paid for. But in your case I don't think you should blame the bed for the lack of a good night sleep. I think maybe you are stressed and just need to take it easy and relax and maybe its time you get yourself a new bed perhaps?? Apparently According to experts, we are meant to replace or upgrade our beds at least once every two years.. so maybe its time for a new king size giant to step in..
Good luck though, and try not to over stress your self... happy my lotting!

I think you are right! I think i needed the break from my life by going to the hotel and leaving my worries back home. makes a lot of sense. Thanks and it sounds like you have a great bed

Yes, my fiance and I do have a really comfortable bed. It was actually a gift from his mother. It's really very comfortable to sleep on. I rarely have a bad night of sleep, and when I do, it's because I have a lot on my mind or something like.

i would not say i have a really good bed. i have an average bed and firm bed. thats really one of the few things i want is a nicer bed. i remember laying on the other ones in the bed store and they were so soft and comfortable buy i couldn't afford it. its probably one of the best investments anybody can make in my opinion would be to get a really good bed.

Not at this time! My bed really sucks! It is old and very uncomfortable! My bed is a single and it is to small! I want to get a bigger bed, a full size bed! I'm currently trying to save up money to get a brand new bed! I know it'll take awhile but I'll do it! Right now my bed is so uncomfortable I have bad nights sleeps and wake up with my back hurting alot! It is time for a new bed!

I have a very good bed. My brother works for Butterworth furniture company. For my b-day he bought me a pillow top mattress. I love it so much. I only had it for like 2 months and I dont think that I will ever get rid of it.
