The character in the story and my friend sound so much alike!

Have you ever started reading a book and you realize that the main character and a friend of yours have similarities in their lives? I just got done reading Where Are You Now? by Mary Higgins Clark. The main character in her story and a friend of mine are alike in so many ways! It's so weird. As I was reading the book, my friend kept popping through my head. I wonder if Ms. Clark also knows my friend?

i often realize the character who in teleplay or novel are same as me,may be there is a little different for yours,i didn't find it like very much,i just will find the most of the commonness is same as the main character and find i have ever been same experience with main character.i think this is a normal,after all some of the teleplay or novel form life experience.
