Just now second version of IPL got completed and it was full of surprsises.
The last 2 teams of the last 2008 season were the first 2 teams in 2009 season. It saw most of the retired cricketers shine.
And now comes the second T20 World cup. In 2007 young Indian team emerged as Champions of the short format cricket beating Pakistan in a thriller. They are all set to retain the crown this year also. IPL 2009 came as practise session for all the players.
But I think this years hot favourite is South Africa. They have new found talents AB, duminy, steyn and all time heroes Smith, Boucher, Kallis with them.
