Yeah, it's kinda cool stuff..well at least for singles out there who would never mind graveyard shifts..I once had that job but quitted, it pays less here in our locality, it's not worth for the sleepless nights and scoldings of callers.

I don't think any gender is preffered by the job but because ladies are more expressive I guess they are hired the most. But I don't see any clear advantage whether a guy or a girl can work in a call center.

Hi there! Well, I think it's not only the girls who likes working in a call center but guys as well. I think mainly because of the pay, and the possibility of progress, career-wise. Also, most girls are fond of talking and interacting with different people that's maybe why they love working in a call center. I am actually thinking of applying for a part-time position in one here in our area.
