I had a friend that has sold some stuff on other sites rather than using ebay, have any of you tried another site besides ebay, if so what is it? I have some things I would like to sell but I might be pricing them too high for ebay's standards. any help is appreciated thanks

Yes, there are some free sites because they are still slowly building up their name. After which, when they reach a population to that of eBay, I bet they will start charging fees too. eBay is a big company, they have people to pay and system to maintain; thus, it's just but fair to charge fees in order to make their services even better.

I like using Craigslist better than eBay. It's a little more dangerous, I guess, considering all of the bad publicity surrounding it right now.. But I still like it better. It's pretty much a totally free, online classifieds site. It's really helpful. The only thing is that you usually have to meet the person you're selling to in REAL life, which is the most dangerous part. But, again, it's totally free - and eBay sucks because it charges you all of those fees & percentages & all that.

I but more than I sell on ebay but I also look for stuff to buy and sale at craigslist.org and if you are looking for free stuff to get so you can sell it then try freecycle.org. Hope these help. There aren't any fees with them but there aren't any guarantees like you get with ebay, either.
