Hi friends,
Everyday i get out of office before dinner time so that i can go outside and have a comfortable dinner. And i come to office after my breakfast, most days (i.e those days when i do have breakfast)
I was wondering if people would be willing to stay in office longer if they were provided with the breakfast as well as dinner? As for my case, the answer would be partly yes and partly no. I would come in a bit more early, but i would like to leave office early and go home.
Whats the case with you? what will you be doing?

I don't think so... since the main reason that i took my current job is because of the flexible time... meaning... i can go and leave the office anytime i need or want to... i can't eat breakfast and dinner there because i need to prepare these two meals for my daughter... so i prefer to just leave the go to and leave the office than eat free food there...

Of course i will stay longer in office if i get free breakfast or dinner. But nowadays there are no more free thing. It is impossible to get it.My lecture told me that her friend work at big company which prepare for them free breakfast or lunch.I feel cannot believe it but it is true.

Yes, i think you are right. At this time of recession, it is indeed very difficult to get something form them. Like now, even the biscuits are less. Heights of cost cutting. Can't blame the company though.

Personally I feel if my job was to offer Breakfast for everyone if you are there early enough it would be a Big incentive for sure, and probably encourage better eating, etc. For lunch the only time that it is provided is usually when we have a Potluck or the Boss or Taxi drivers decide to be generous. And then the one time a yr. when the company I work for provides a meal for the Holidays as well. But personally unless you get too Full food can improve your productivity so more jobs could benefit from considering this one for sure.

Well i am a late riser so if im served breakfast and asked to stay an hour longer after office hours , maybe i will consider. While i would for no reasons stay back late in office waiting for dinner to be served.I prefer to do my job on time and leave office on time cos i have a life outside office and dont want to end up like most office goers..anti-social and a loser in life.

No!I don't like to stay more time in office for the sake of dinner. That will go under hidden cost and it may not suit our taste. So,I like to have my dinner at my own cost and work in the office for the specified time alone.Cheers!
