Will you still love a friend if she always contradicts your opinions?

I had a friend who's more intelligent than me. I've known her for such a long time now... Everything I said which I know was right, she would say but... She was working in my husband's school, but the way she acts looks like she's the owner of it. I used to call her ma'am in the school, but she never adressed me as one. I always understand her.. I'm only her friend. Because so many people around her dislikes her strictness and being arrogant. Sometimes I want to confront her, but I don't wanna let her feel what she felt when people told her directly about her mistakes. But sometimes, she's going too far.. Please give me some advise...
