Will you still love a friend if she always contradicts your opinions?

I had a friend who's more intelligent than me. I've known her for such a long time now... Everything I said which I know was right, she would say but...
She was working in my husband's school, but the way she acts looks like she's the owner of it. I used to call her ma'am in the school, but she never adressed me as one. I always understand her.. I'm only her friend. Because so many people around her dislikes her strictness and being arrogant.
Sometimes I want to confront her, but I don't wanna let her feel what she felt when people told her directly about her mistakes. But sometimes, she's going too far.. Please give me some advise...

I think it's one thing if she really does have a different opinion. You shouldn't agree on everything. If she doesn't show you the same respect as you show her you are within your rights to confront her and make her aware of your feelings though. It's not really a friendship if you don't get along and show eachother respect. Odds are if you're her only friend other people might feel the same way about her.
