do you squeez the toothpaste bottle from the bottom?

I have to admit I'm OC about this.:) I squeeze from the bottom. My husband has learned to do the same, but on the occasion that he forgets, I don't go berserk. I just push the toothpaste up again. :)

i usually squeeze it in the middle, i think it was most people do. but when it almost run out i start squeezing in the bottom to get the paste in the bottom. but i always make sure i get what i payed to i use all the toothpaste no wasting...lol. happy posting!!!!

I usually just squeeze it in the middle or where ever it looks its fullest. I can't imagine that being such a big issue with couples. Your right that is shallow. Learn to deal with it or get your own tube of toothpaste.

I'm this type of squeezing the toothpaste from the bottom frequently and it makes me feel that i'm not waste the toothpaste. By the way,when i heard of the couples who gets divorced just because of the different habbit of squeeze the toothpaste,i'm so surprised.I never believe it. What's more,however my BF and me are different in this,we all never mind.In contrast,we will help each other to squeeze toothpaste if any of us go first to wash.

I am a "squeeze from the middle" person too! I usually end up wasting half the tube of toothpaste, it's a really bad habit if you have nobody to fix it up for you. I used to get in trouble for it when I lived at home, but now I live away from home there's nobody to tell me off :) I don't know about people getting divorced over the toothpaste, it is probably a culmination of irritation from various bad habits, including the toothpaste thing, but you never know, people seem to throw away marriages like trash these days.

Well, if you put it that way, I guess my family is the OC type. I remember always being scolded by my mother when I was a kid if I didn't squeeze the toothpaste tube from the bottom.

I squeeze from the middle too but I also go back and fix it so I guess I'm a bit of both worlds! I actually bought a little plastic clamp that is designed to keep the toothpaste at the top of the tube. Once it's starting to get down and all misshapen I just pop that thing on the bottom and run it up the tube - it works great!

This can be a real breaker for some relationships, and I have to admit that I do ALWAYS squueze from the bottom, but I have come to the conclusion that this is a taught habit, not a natural one. As you get older in life and start to live with other people, like when you get married or have a roomate, you need to learn consideration for others, and I think it is really inconsiderate to squueze from the middle. I have always taught by example, and perhaps a few strong words, that it is not nice to squeeze from the middle of the tube, and now I live in harmony and peace in my bathroom.

i really never cared to see how i squeeze the tooth paste bottle but i think if it is squeezed from the bottom then the ooth paste would not go waste.

I too squeeze from the middle I try to remember to do it from the bottom but its usually the middle. I have my own bathroom so I don't have a problem with anyone complaining about it. LOL LOL LOL

Hello, oyenkai! Well, I prefer mostly to squeeze it on the middle. Sometimes, I roll the bottom part so that it will not go from the bottom to be convenient in squeezing. But sometimes I only squeeze it from the bottom when the tube is near to be empty so that nothing will be wasted... About your sister who is obsessive-compulsive type, maybe its only normal because she wants that there is nothing will be wasted on the toothpaste so she squeezes it from the bottom. About the couples that divorced because of toothpaste, what a reason! They don't think on what will happen after separation, just thinking on the toothpaste this is my view to your discussion, happy mylotting and have a nice day!

I like it stuffed so I squeeze from the middle. I'm happy that my husband empties it coz whenever its running out of paste I tend to open another box, lol... It's working for both of us and its such a small issue to lead into a divorce, lol... what kind of couple fights over a toothpaste? I wonder what can happen if they come across bigger problems. When I was still single, my mom is the one who squeezes from the bottom and all five of us including my father squeezes from the middle, but I'm the only person who usually opens another box, lol.

I squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom, i do not think that there is anything wrong if we do not squeeze it from the bottom. We buy toothpaste to brush our teeth, and as far as that is possible how does it matter whether we squeeze it from bottom, middle or top.

Actually I dont mind where I squeez the tube, so long as the toothpaste comes out. When it is nearly over, it is then that I start from the bottom and keep rolling the tube and pushing the paste up. When the tube is nearly over, its just me and the poor rolled tube. My husband and son promptly take out a new one. Is it true ? people divorcing for such a trival matter ? Hoo Boy !

Hi! I also squeeze the toothpaste in the middle especially when the tube is still full. But when it is already empty, I squeeze it from the bottom to the top to get all the toothpaste left in the tube. Is there something to argue about it that it will lead to divorce? I don't think so. as long as the couples are madly in-love and the affection is still there, this kinda situation will not let them to part ways.

I'm too OC with these kinds of things. Yeah, I squeeze from the bottom going up. I like how tidy it looks after doing this. This is the first time that I've heard that there are couples who divorce because of this matter. Wow. It's a ground for divorce? I'm shocked.
