Do you delete friends just because they don't reply fast to your topics ?

I have noticed that some of my friends have taken me off their lists and i can't understand this. I don't use email notifiers as i can't stand a tone of emails per day, but i do check my friends from time to time, if i don't manage to check them daily (as i do have a real life) and i do respond to more than one topic, to be sure they are happy and earning with my help as well.
i only delete friends if they have left mylot, or have been missing for more than 2-3 months (they can always add me back, right).
So how about you, do you delete friends just because they are not fast repliers to your topics ?

In my opinion the word 'friend' when used to describe a list of myLotters is an abusive use of the word itself. it is out of context.
They become what I consider as friends much later and not as soon as they are added to my list. Once they are added only then can we begin to understand each other and become friends. Then we both understand that there is not enough time to respond to all the discussions that we post and indeed some of them may not even be about topics that we can relate to.
I delete those on my list if their profile becomes blank (either because they were banned or they decided to cancel their account) or if there is some misunderstanding between us. I add many, many new users to help them get on their feet here and they stay as long as they stick to the Guidelines regardless of whether they respond to my (few) dicussions or not.
Each one of us has their own way of dealing with that list I believe. If someone deletes me they will have their resons which I respect although, as in your case, I may not be receiving notifiers of their posts, so that would seem unfair - but I don't bother about it as it could be their loss

Hello, elitess! Well, I never deleted any of my friends. Once added, they still remain on my friends list even they respond late or they do not respond to my discussions. I understand that they are not online on that time so I just wait no matter how long. I just consider that thing. I know some of my friends haven't been here for a long time maybe because they are busy. Happy mylotting and have a nice day!

Some of your friends might have a heck of a job keeping up with everything - age takes its tollon the speed at which fingers can type

Hi there tonny ;) I think the most important is "the trip there, not the speed of the trip", well metaphorically speaking of course, i appreciate a response, no matter when it comes, so that is why i felt a bit dissapointed to see i got deleted in some of my oldest friends lists here, since i know i responded to tons of their topics.

no i dont delete just because they dont reply or respond to my topics right away...
even in other social network sites, i dont delete right away, only when they havent updated or posted something for a very long time that i delete them.
here in mylot, since i am still new i have not yet deleted anybody in my list. but if ever one in my friends' list would bug me about spam, i will not hesitate to delete that user.

Hi there Jayrene. I haven't mentioned about the spam-ing part, but i figured that goes to the start of the friendship relationship - when trying to get their referral links to you, they usually do this just after you accepted them, so deleting them after 1 day of the add can't really be considered as loosing a friend, right ?

yeah you have a point there...
i only have one user added that have sent me a reflink (trading reflink) right after i have added him on my list. but i havent deleted him yet as he had only sent me that message once.
but even if that person wont respond to my discussion right away, i still wont delete him. sometimes its hard to think of a response especially if you dont have any idea what to say in a topic. i have many friends' started discussions that i wasn't able to respond too because i dont know what to say.
others, i know they dont have any interest in my topic/discussion so they dont respond to it... no reason to delete just because there's no response from them.

Personally for me, I cannot understand why people delete someone just because they do not take the time to respond back to all of their discussions. For me, I know myself there are times I am more active in here than others. The only time I delete people from my list is if they have not responded back in here in longer than the 60 days or their link is broken. Otherwise you deserve a chance to still be on my friends list for sure.

Hi there Krause.
Well i have had my college exam and i have been away the last 2 weeks.. and now really soon i will be going in vacation - to the mountains and then to England, so i will probably be close to inactive in the next period, but this will mean that when i do get back i will have a lot of work to do here on mylot in preparation for the next payment and in order to get back on track with all my friends here.

I havent really gotten around to that task of deleting friends. Add to that I havent started a discussion for months now
I dont delete friends because it would require that much effort and I wouldnt be sure if may be the member has plans to come back after some months. I saw one of my friends do that. I thought she has gone and forgotten the site but when I went through my friends page, I saw that she has a new avatar. Well, that really didnt make her that much more active but at least she came back even to just peep in.
I dont start discussions because I want to be involved in them. Comment back on all the responses as best I can at least for the duration of the day that I started that discussion. Too bad I dont have that much time so I think it best to just respond to my friends' discussions. That way I can go back to their comments when I get to log in. Some also dont bother commenting though.

I have a hard time understanding we people add friends on here in the first place. I am sort of new here (havn't wrote much), btu all I ever see on here is people spamming their referral links and just writing stupid comments just to be making money. This site has sent a flood of scammers to my home review site of Ciao.com just because people paste their referrals and people just come and plagiarise and write non-sense reviews almost ruining the site for everyone. We have luckily just implemented a ban on the countries that scam the most. I don't see how having friends on your list can get ou faster replies. I don't even really look at my home page, I go to a subject I am interested in a look from there. 999/1000 people here are scammers just like on all the other sites. I am not tryi9ng to be mean or be a pessimist, it is just how I see it.

No, to be honest I don't keep track as to who responds to my discussions. I do like to receive responses and I do wonder why some of my discussions are not as popular as others but it is irrelevant to me where the responses come from. The way I look at it is; just because somebody befriends me doesn't oblige them to respond to all my topics. We can only give our best to MyLot if we contribute to whatever interests and appeals to us.
Out of curiosity, do you receive notification if someone deletes you?

Hello Paula. No you don't receive a notification of someone deleting you, but after you have been here for a year or so, and someone from your first page of friends, that you have responded a lot of topics isn't there anymore, it makes you wander what happen, and after searching for the person you notice you can "add as a friend" again, you realize they deleted you.

My concern is not only to earn but to have more friends here so I don;t need to delete anyone of them even they are not replied into my discussions. That was too unrealistic reason deleting a friend just because of no reply for the most important is friend rather than any replied. Well there is a reason why they do not reply one is because they are not interested into your topic and sometimes they don't have any idea about the topic. For me if I have a friend online or not I treasure them very much. So i will probably not deleting you friend! Have a nice day!!

No I don't delete my friends for that reason. Truth is I have a very limited friends group and I know each and every one of them very well, (I had an account here before so I have known them for a long time), and know that they are busy with other things in their life the same as I am, so when we do get to each others discussions, we are thrilled to see each other of course and make the best of the little time that we have together.

I haven't deleted any friends so far, and I don't mind if they don't respond to my discussions. I know that quite often it's hard to respond to some discussions for all sorts of reasons. Maybe you have been taken off some lists as people try to keep their friends to a manageable number.

Hi. elitess. No. I never delete any of my friends if they have been gone from myLot for too long. What if they may come back someday? I never know what is going on in their life that is outside of myLot. They may really need a friend when they come back. And no, I don't delete any friends that are not fast repliers. MyLot is a very big site and sometimes it is very hard for others to just reply to all of the discussions that are on here at myLot.

No I don't delete friends just because they did not reply to my discussions, in fact I have so many friends in my list but most of my discussions only have 10 responses but I never complained where are my friends.
Maybe they won't like my discussions or they did not feel answering into it, I just respected their choices and opinions.

Hi Elitess,
I would never delete a friend off my list just because they did not reply to one of my topics just like I hope they would not delete me from their list. We all have different interests and likes, so sometimes a topic may not appeal to everyone just like friends in real life we don't all like the same things.
I always try to reply to my friends discussions as much as possible, but then I only reply to a topic that has caught my eye or one that I feel I can add something to. I tend not to reply to topics that I have no knowledge of though.
The only time I have deleted someone from my list is, as others have said, is when they have spammed me with links to their new "get rich quick scheme.
