Would you recognize or not????

I was wondering what would you do if you were in this situation.
For some reason your child gets lost or kidnapped on the day he/she was born. Now some years have passed by. And you don't know how your child looks like. Now accidently you are standing in a shop and that kid enters the shop too. You would look at him. Even if he resembles you or your spouse, you will only think that he/she resembles you or your spouse. Would you recognize that he/she is your child?
Like it happens in movies....

i have a friend who had an experience on that... although he knew he had a child from an ex, he never really know what the child looks like. one day (after some years) he went to his ex's house and the ex was not there, somebody answered the door and he saw the child, there were other kids there too, although he dont know if that child was his or not, he had a feeling that it was his child because there was this thing we call here "lukso ng dugo"[b][/b] (i dont know how to say that in english), it just a feeling, blood rush or something like that... and he knows that they are related.
he never really had the chance to confirm that, because he still havent met his ex. after some years, he got to meet the child again although a teenager now, they still werent introduced as father and child... but the feeling is still there. he asked the mother of the child but he did not got a straight reply... things are really complicated... but the feeling is there. they never really bothered to know the real thing though as so many people will be affected.
