Do you cut and paste?

Hi All,
I thought I was being brilliant by writing out my discussion posts in a word document so I wouldn't forget anything that I wanted to talk about. Well, in theory it is a good idea, however, until you reach 500 points on mylot, you're not allowed to paste...darn it.
Oh well, I still think this is a great idea. Even though I can't cut and paste, I can still write down my thoughts or anything I want to share and do it all at the same time that I'm online as I'm on dial-up and can't have the phone line tied up all day :D
It's also a great way to release your pent-up frustration. You can go back later and edit it, decide if you want to post it as it is or just trash it. So even though I'm not able to cut and paste yet, I think I'm going to keep writing in a document so I can always go back to see if I missed something or if I want to add something that I originally wrote.

yes i do cut and paste... when i was new here and was not able to do that, i get frustrated sometimes because i always forgot that i cannot cut and paste yet and sometimes i type here about 1 paragraph and have cut it but cannot paste it to where i should want to put it.
you can always type in word and when the time comes for you to be able to cut and paste then you can paste it here in mylot start a new discussion on it.
i suggest thought that you abide by the rules here in mylot... if they say till 500 before you can cut and paste then just be patient, you can reach that in time, did you know there is a greater feeling when you are able to reach a certain point, a goal, it's like all the hardwork have paid off...
when i was able to reach that 500 posts count i was so happy and i even started a discussion on it to let my friends know... i can now cut and paste.
it will happen to you also, just keep on typing you have in mind in word, then when the time comes, paste it here in mylot... happy mylotting

I don't use it at all except when quoting a piece of a previous response to comment on it. I use it to post parts of the Guidelines and the FAQs too in this interest but I never prepare my posts first. It's all on the spur of the moment just as though I was talkling (that's why I ramble sometimes 
).
You will get there in less time than you think. First concentrate on reaching 100 (you get your star) and 200 (you get the smilies 
).

i had seen that guidelines many times
,
i think mylot should include you as a staff with salutation of community manager
,
as you were most active & oldest.
& i will not use cut copy paste , if i reach 500 also , till any critical situtation occurs

By the time you reach 500 you will be so used to not using it that you won't have anybother not using it from then onwards either
