What kind of fish is "Mahi, Mahi"?

The last summer I went to Florida, Miami. I went to a Cuban restaurant to have a nice seafood meal. Among all the delicious main course. I especially favor this "Mahi, Mahi" fish dish. It just tastes so good to me. I just want to know, what kind of fish is "Mahi, Mahi"? Since I don't know much about the fish category, or seafood.

It is the same as dolphin. Not that dolphin!! That is why they changed the name because of all the confusion. People thought they were eating the mammal dolphin and that is not the case. I am half Cuban and lived in Florida for 22 years and I believe that is one of the most DELICIOUS fish I ever had!!
