Is it moral to train chimps as factory workers?

This was a serious idea proposed in the late Victorian era. Chimpanzees are intelligent and dextrous enough to perform light assembly work. If this were implemented today on a large scale it would eliminate sweat shop labour and much human misery without the need for advances in robotics.
I think this could be a good idea but I'm not sure. What do you think?

I think that if you belive in evolution then we have already trained a monkey type animal to work in factories. Sorry ya'll I have been wanting to say that for a long time.
Why would you want to take those horrible jobs from people who oobviously need a job (if they did not need it then they would not work). Besides all that it would never work, to many people would holler animal cruelty.
