What do you think about inviting men to a BABY SHOWER, DO YOU AGREE

My friend's friend is having a baby shower and she wants all of her gilfriends to bring their boyfriend/husband or a date. Yes, she is encouraging this! I thought baby showers were only for women. Is this a new style. Let me know what you think. Do you think it is okay for men to attend a baby shower. Have you evern been to a baby shower were men were invited.

I've personally never been to a baby shower where the men have been invited but a friend of mine has. She said all the guys went downstairs to watch hockey anyways so it wasn't really any different to a women's only baby shower. I don't know if many men would even really be interested in hanging around playing baby themed games and watching the opening of baby gifts.

I guess it's the new thing now? This is not the first time I have heard about this. I don't know. I guess since a guy is involved with the baby too that maybe they should start inviting men? It's not the 50's anymore.
