I'm not saying we should impose our beliefs on anyone but if someone want to pray or have a time of silent meditation in a public place such as school or work, I don't think anyone should forbid them. Do you?

I think that as long as its not distrupting class, lessons or other students etc it would be fine..AND it must NOT be required by the school thta all students do it...If a group of students want to have a prayer group or something during lunch or break in an area where they wont bother others and others wont bother them then I see nothing wrong with it at all...Of course I feel this should apply to ALL religions...so if a Pagan, Muslim, Buddhist, Satanist along with all the others wish to "do their thing" (with the same rules applying of course) then it should be allowed...

I want to add though, that as much as I think it should be allowed I DON'T think its a good idea...There is enough conflict in the schools these days as it is and I honestly feel that if this were to go on it would just open up a major can of worms.

I have no definite thoughts on this...the school I went to had a prayer session every morning along with the assembly where we had to sing the national anthem and one prayer...there were many prayers and sayings of saints and my favourite one was 'Our Father in Heaven'...I just love this prayer though I am not Christian, neither has this prayer imposed any Christian leanings in me.

I think in every schools there should be some silent prayer halls were every student can pray silently to their God.It will be good for spiritual development of students also they will start to see other communities equally.
