Interest hijacking

Am I missing something? Why is it so hard to start discussions in the appropriate interest? I just finished wading through three pages of discussions in one interest area where probably 98% of the discussions were started by the same person and maybe 2 of their discussions actually pertained to the interest area!!
Does it frustrate anyone else when you go to one of your favorite interest areas and find it hijacked by discussions that have nothing to do with why you went there?

Exactly! What is point in having interest groups if you choose to put you discussion where ever you please. That's like some of these people posting a topic that has nothing to do with their discussion. Or, on some of these the topic is and discussion is okay but you can't understand a word that they are saying because apparently they either don't know how to spell or there verbal dictionary is below common understanding to the rest of.

I guess it would, I would just respond to each and everyone of those discussions and overload their inbox, they so desired the attention, so give it to them. Start your discussion anyway.
