Can you really LOVE someone and not like them?

I have heard this question asked. Can you really love someone and not like them. I believe you can. Some people I may not like because of things they do or simply because of their personality. But if that person needed something from me I do believe I would help them. I think I could love them enough to make sure they are ok. What do you think? Can you love someone but not like them?

I can so realate to this question. Sad to say the I love my mom with all my heart but as a person I don't like here. I have made mistakes in my past and she has said some of the worst things imaginable to me and she is not the type to be open minded to my feelings she is a very judgemental person! But God knows I love her very much.

Wow, I didn't know anyone else felt like this. I was wondering how I could love my mother and not like her. I love her and appreciate her very much for how she raised me and all she's done for me. But honestly, I don't like her ways very much. I don't particularly like to be around her for long periods of time, because she always tries to control me. She tries to make me feel guilty if I don't always do what she wants, when she wants it. And because she's my mother and I respect her, I usually let her do it. My mother also is a very judgmental person. Thanks for your response

I can love someone like my sister but I don't like her because she is not a nice person. I couldn't be in love with a man and not like him though! That would not work for me at all.

we love people due to their attitude towards us and towards others so the person who behave well with us we definitely like them and the person who do not behave well with us we will definitey dislike them so also do the same thing the person who behave well with me i love them and the person who donot behave well with me i do not like them
