You can get a lot out of poems, some really don't understand it I think, there are so many different feelings going into poems, thinks that can really hit the heart, some are on real life stories on what has happen to others, poems are happy, they are sad, they are funny, but not all understand the true beauty of poem is all

I absolutely love Dr. Seuss's "Green Eggs and Ham". It's still one of my favorite books until now even if I'm already grown-up. Right now, I read a lot of novels. The ones I like the best are Jodi Picoult's. Salman Rushdie's books are also great for adults and children alike. One of his books, "Haround and the Sea of Stories", can be read in just one sitting but is a very interesting read. :)

yes, reading is good for relaxing and it can take the edge off of things for you, and I agree, I would get more out of a book that It will not take about a week to read, I rather a book that I can sit down read it and be done, I will get more out of it that way

The best book I ever read was when I was like 10 or 12. It's called "The Boy Who Could Reverse Himself" The whole book deals with multidimesional theory on a fictional level suitable for teens. There is even a girl who has to eat ketchup and dirt because another dimension messes with her taste buds. It's a great followup Jr. SciFi book for kids to read after "Flatland" another favorite book of mine.
My favorite adult novel is a toss up between " Slapstick " and " Mother Night " both wonderful books by Kurt Vonnegut Jr.

Best good books I read The Bible, the Book of Mormon, The Pearl of Great Price, the Doctrine and Covenants, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Our Heritage etc. They are inspirational books. I read Religions of the World is so amazing, too. I learned a lot. Spiritually and inspirational books are my top. Then, Guinness book of records and World Almanac for facts I loved, too.
