I remember I had an exam, it was the law of trust, we have to answer four questions and I had prepared 6 questions very well for the exam, we even discuss several issues before enterring the examination hall with friends, I was confident to get very good marks with my preparation, When the paper came to me, three papers.
I was reading the questions which we are allow to do, I was as if I had a black out, the questions I prepared were not in the paper, I was damn sure to fail the paper, I wanted to cry profusely, and I kept on looking to the clock and the paper and the others who were writing too fast, I wanted to go outside the hall but I could not, I did 4 question each one and a half page as I did not know what to write, when it was over I came outside and cried a lot with friends, they said they were surprised too.
When we got our results, we found that we all failed, well I know it is not a happy endding but it is the truth, we had to do the same paper two months later, and this time I had to prepare all 8 questions to be able to have scope for answers.

Yes this has happened to me once or twice. I think most of the people face this problem at least once in their life. The reason is you are too stressed out regarding the exam. What happens is that you have practiced the procedure well but due to tension and stress of the exam the thing does not comes into your mind. Then you feel like the thing is in your stomach and does not coming out from your mouth. And then you feel frustrated. I think if you had relaxed a bit in the exam hall and tried other questions keeping that particular question apart then after sometime you would have surely remember that answer. I have followed this way and it really works.

I just finished my engineering degree and I know how it feels like. But studying is an art. Prepare a to-do list and read a chapter everyday. Make sure you understand the concepts by creating a mind map or something similar. Draw flowcharts, underline keywords and make a list of the points that you consider are important. Don't study at the last hour. Make sure you revise those points you wrote. If you follow all these efficiently, you'll definitely succeed!

That happend to me this morning as well. I had to take a test in business math. I studied all night and thought I had it all good, and when I went to take the test, I totally blanked out and bombed it.
I got a 30% yikes!
I hate taking tests.

That doesn't usually happen to me. Yeah, there are somethings that I forgot but my mind doesn't get blanked. There has to be something in there that will come up.

OMG, I am so sorry to hear about your bad experience! I have done that same thing. What did you do? Did your instructor understand? Will you be able to retake it? Its so sad that when you really need to remember something that is the time your mind goes blank.

I don't know what did i do!!!huhuhu...
i was blank, the examiner ask me question and i can't answer it..but when i came out of the exam hall all the answer just starts to pop out of my mind...erghhh...
If i fail the exam i must re-seat the exam or they'll bar me from taking the pro exam..:(
