i'm just waiting for my papers and will be migrating to canada soon but i'm not aware of this. i think financial status and the current recession and economy crisis have something to do with this. but are you sure you would like to have that many kids? gosh, you might be filthy rich!

Canada is facing this problem that is why they are really keen on inviting immigrants to further boost their economy or else their country would collapse because there are too many old people and lesser of young ones are that will keep their economy from growing. WHAT?? LOL where in the hell did you hear that??

Good for you that you are given the chance to live there. I have seen many who have immigrated from there are having the time of their lives with their family growing up as Canadians. I do hope someday I would be given a chance to work and live with my family there. But, still there's no place like home, no matter how crowded our place is its still is the best place to live in. I do not think its the recession that they are facing. This problem is their problem even before the recession is there. Canada is facing this problem that is why they are really keen on inviting immigrants to further boost their economy or else their country would collapse because there are too many old people and lesser of young ones are that will keep their economy from growing. Every country needs young generation to keep what the old ones are doing.

That is the problem of Canada maybe that is why my countrymen are the ones very eager to to that country. Our country is the reverse of Canada. Our country is facing a massive increase in population and every year as the population grows almost everything in our lives are affected. Health services, and every possible services that you expect from a government is not readily available because of this. I guess you are right Canada is such a big place to accomodate more Canadians it is sad that the country is asking for more immigrants because the real Canadians is not that interested in making babies anymore. The benefits that the government offer in them is really very good and many non Canadians are really looking forward beng able to go there and start their lives there.

Well, maybe it is not so much fear as it is smarts of not having a child they can't afford to take care of that would bring fear into an parents heart not being able to support their children. So maybe that is why it is down. Seems like we need to take a chapter of that book I love kids but if a person can't afford to provide for a child and give them all that they need maybe not want but need then why make a child suffer?
