should ashish nehra be selected for indian cricket team?

If Zaheer Khan does not become fit then Ashish Nehra could be a near perfect replacement for him. Presently he is in terrific form and he has shown the same in the just concluded IPL 2. Moreover he also has got away from his injury problems as well and has shown tremendous improvement in his fitness level that has earlier hampered his career. I think he should be given a chance to play in the World Cup and will be selected in the team.

yes and i think if zaheer khan does not get into the side due to his injury then ashish nehra will be the most probable replacement for him.he is bowling vry well at the moment and adds that variation of left handed bowers which at times can get difficult for right handed batsmen to face.most importantly he can swing the ball as well which will come very handy in foreign conditions.

i agree.ashish nehra ,even before he left the squad because of an injury is well known for his 49th over bowling.with zaheer not sure for the world cup,ashish might prove very usefull but not selected so all pressure on ishant,pathan and rp singh. not very good Mr.Srikanth

I wholely agree with what you are saying. Ashish Nehra has surely proved himself. You know that was the only prop that he needed. He only needed a step to stand on and to move and to surge forward. He got that. And I will say, he grabbed the opportunity with both hands. Now, he should only hope that the selectors just don't forget him amidst other things. And that they take a very serious note of his achievement. If he is ready to go through that phase, then he can surely make his way back into the Indian team. After his super six performance in the World Cup in England, he hasn't been in the best of the forms. Time has been cruel to him. But I am sure he will come with flying colours.
