That's because you're on the east coast side of the country my friend. You should come to the sunny south! I live more or less central south and the weather's not bad here. It's even better in the West Country, so perhaps you should consider moving further away from the east coast?
Brightest Blessings, my friend.

It was really hot here for about a week, and then it got real cold, real fast, and started raining. Today it's a little warmer than it was yesterday and not raining, but it's still very very damp! I sure hope this dum weather doesn't last all freaking summer.

Climate shift. I was actually having a dual feeling because my plants need the rain, but I want the sun to come out as well. Maybe if we could tell the rain to come at night only, but just enough rain to dampen the soil and not our spirit, and the sun shines in the day.

I am so jealous. To be in The UK and it's raining. That is a dream come true.

I used to always love the rain and was happy when it did I would go outside and play. But now here in the Norwich we get more than we need. Well, actually this year we are not getting much and the rains didn't come on time. Our plants and vege didn't grow so well.
Anyway, why don't you plan to come here?

I have been planning my trip in my head for years now , the problem , I don't have the money. If I did, I would be on the first plane to London.Until then , i have friends from UK and films and documentaries.By this rate if I ever cross the pond, I'll know the place already.
