I can eat just lettuce and tomatoes, but I love a salad with lettuce, baby spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, broccoli, sprouts, snow peas (and other kinds of raw peas), and topped off with chow main noodles, sunflower seeds, cheese and ranch.

Hey Sahil, I use avacado mostly in everysalad I make. I love cuccumbers too. Avacados are sooo good and they are good for your skin too. Its a good oil for your body. I really like hearts of palm as well. It has a lot of calcium and they are delicious with very little calories, no fat and no or little carbohydrates.

I use lettuce or cabbage the most. I feel the salad is incomplete or life-less without a strip of lettuce in it :)
Try out this salad recipe; this is one of my favorite and I am sure even you will like it

Lettuce is the obvious answer, but I am one that makes sure that I have more vegies than the lettuce. I love the a lot of vegies on my salad. Mushrooms, brocoli, cauliflower, red onions. I love how the amish prepare their salad bars..most of their vegies are chopped up small so they are easy to eat. Their lettuce is shredded as well. This is making me hungry for a salad!!
