I buy simple toys for my kid. I do not buy toys that need batteries for operation. It is waste of money on such toys. You may differ from my opinion on this. What do you feel and what kind of toys do you buy for your kids?

My children all have some kind of battery operated toy in their room. For the most part they would rather play with polly pocket, legos, dolls, army men, books and so forth. They can spend hours playing with those kind of toys. They all have a handheld leapster and they usually spend 40-50 minutes at a time playing it.

I choose the toys suitably on his age,I look to see that thing he love now.I agree with you about toys that wich need batteries.Until know,I buy educative toys like puzzle, ring groove toys, hammer's toy.etc.and now,my child like car's toy. So,I buy it and I see that he enjoy his car's toy.
