do you like it when people smile at you?

A smile is priceless. People smiling at me does make feel happy for the same reason you metioned. I too love when I make someone smile. It actually tells a lot about a person the way they smile. Their eyes tells you that he is happy to see you and presents you with a smile.

Well most of the time it's nice to receive smiles, especially you are served in a restaurant or a bank. Sometimes you just know a smile is not real and not from the bottom of heart. That kind of fake smile makes me uncomfortable.

I try to smile at people. It is like a small act of kindness. I know that when people smile at me I feel a little better about everything else. I think we would all be a lot better if we all tried to help everyone else have a great day.

Hey Gemma! Yes, I do like it when people smile at me! It is always nice to have someone smile at you! It makes you feel good even if you are not really in a good mood! I know that sometimes I will go out and not really be in a the mood to to be doing what I have to do and someone will smile at me and I will smile back and it will change my whole outlook on the day! So just keep smiling at people! It does make some people feel really good!

Yes; I find that a smile, even from a stranger in passing, can brighten up even my darkest days. I try to find a smile for pretty much anyone I make eye contact with, even if I'm having a bad day and can only muster a small smile. It seems to make me feel better too.

I think it's nice when people smile. Some people look grumpy even when they aren't, but a smile totally negates that. It doesn't hurt anything. All it can do is bring about a positive.

Yes, I certainly do enjoy it, when people smile at me. I find that it's really nice, when people do this, even the people that I don't know, that I've never met. You never know who it might help. A smile may just help someone and we might never know it.

who would not want to see someone smiling at you? even if its a stranger, a smile from someone somehow makes me feel that i am still alive despite all my worries and failures in life, as if it is telling me that life is beautiful. especially when that someone who smiled at me is a pretty chic LOL! it's like HEAVEN guys!

of course yes...i like it but make sure that the smile is the real one and not the sarcastic or fake or suspicious smile...you know.. sincerity in smile will make our day brighter..and i think a smile can give a comfortable environment for everybody.. :-)

I really love to see people smiling. It makes me feel happy, even if I am in a sour mood. Where I live (in the central Appalachian region of the U.S.), it is considered rude to not smile or speak or nod when someone makes eye contact. I've been to other parts of the country where people rarely smile at strangers and seem offended if strangers smile at them. I had a very hard time adjusting to that.

yes, I do. It is a form of gesture and appreciation. Oh, and it is a form of greeting, as well. And yes, you are right in pointing out that it brings so much happiness to the person who receives it.
