Wiccan, wicca, pagan, witchcraft. Wiccans are not evil, they don't harm or seduce people. They are not dangerous. They are ordinary people like us. Wicca is indeed a religion and it's highly based on nature. It is oftentimes called "witchcraft" and looked on as a negative thing, but, like everything else, Wicca is not necessarily negative, but there are good and bad sides to it, just like in Christianity. A lot of Wiccans are thought to be evil because they perform magick. However, there is a differentiation among Wiccans between "white magic" and "black magic". Wicca is a fairly modern religious system....sort of an offspring to Witchcraft which has ALWAYS been misunderstood.....I'm not Wiccan myself (though I was for a time yrs ago) but I am a Witch and Pagan... Wicca is a religion. but i guess the real question in your mind right now is whether Wicca is good or bad. Wicca is neither good nor evil. It is Both because nature is both. and wicca is nature. It will be bad if you're going to use it for bad and it will be good if you are going to use it for good things, just like having a weapon. it can help you protect yourself and it can harm you as well. What matter is your intentions and your heart's voice. There's alot of wiccan sites and references but just a piece of advice. stay away from those references which offers purely spells and things like that. it will corrupt your mind of what you can do and you might abuse it. try reading the philosphy of witchcrafts, some testimonials and most specially those references which tacles how to celebrate the Wiccan wheel of the year or the Sabbats. because through there celebrations and festivals you will learn how to align yourself with your innerself and to nature.and it will be your Best Teacher in Wiccan Way, Merry Meet.
