Last week, on Wednesday May 20th, I went to this job open house and there were a lot of ppl there, however I was one of the ppl who passed the initial interview and they liked my resume.
I was told that I would receive a call on Tuesday May 26th (yesterday) or Wednesday May 27th (today) where they would schedule a 2nd final interview. Well, they didn't call yesterday, leaving one day left: today. While its only noon over here, the day may still be young but im kinda worried what if today goes by and they dont call for some reason? Should i then call them tomorrow and ask?
I've been keeping my phone lines open so i dont think availability should be an issue.

As someone who did a fair amount of interviewing and recruiting, I would say absolutely call them back. The previous comment saying if someone says they will call you they don't intend to is not accurate in the job hunt/interviewing world. Most likely they had a number of interviews lined up for the position, and they would be no more likely to cancel those interviews before you've signed on the dotted line then you would be to quit your present job based on an interview but no offer. I would call them before close of business today. I would tell them that you were really excited about the position/company etc and are wondering when they would like you to come in for the second interview. Don't wait till tomorrow - eagerness will*not* hurt your chances, and in the worst case scenario you at least have an answer and can move on to something else.
It is also possible in these situations that there is someone (admin maybe) that has you on a list of people to call and is either unable to get through her list of calls in a timely manner or not motivated to make the effort to keep up.
So few interviewees show real self-motivation - it gives you that extra bit of pizazz when you can show that you take initiative and don't just sit back and wait for someone to tell you what to do.

I was told that if someone tells you that they would call you then they have no intention of calling you back. I have experienced this many times and I don't expect to get the job when they don't call immediately. Cheers!!

I would call them tommorow morning about an hour after they open. This will give them time to get the dsay started and make any final calls they might have not gotten to, while at the same time will show that you are still interested in the position.

This is similar to me trying to get into a college. I applied for a college a couple of months ago and they gave me an offer in their college but they said there would be a second interview. A couple months had passed and they hadn't contacted me via phone, email, or post or any other way you could think of. I still haven't received anything from them so I'm gonna ring them up myself and I think that you would do the same thing.
Just ring them up and ask them what time is the interview tomorrow.
