I am using IE, Fire fox and Chrome browsers. When I am browsing on one of these browsers it crashes in between the sessions. One other problem with IE and firefox is popup ads are continuously coming after 5 min.
I am using Avira antivirus free version.
I had uninstalled the browsers and reinstalled them again but no change occured.
What should I do ?
Should I format my hard drive ?
I would like to take last option of hard drive format.

It might be adware or malware affecting to your pc. Most likely are "internet saving optimiser" and "media access startup" . Search for these two in your control panel and delete them your problem would be solved. There is no need to format your hard drive. Run Ccleaner randomly for fast pc experience.

I did as you said and my all problem are solved without formating my hard drive. At last after long time of posting my discussion I have found right answer . Thank you very much for your reply It think I was very much needed as I am using limited broadband connection and opening such a pop ups would increase the use of my alloted band width .

I think the best way is to reformat your computer to clean the virus in it. If your computer have two drive partition. Install karpersky anti-virus to eliminate first the virus in that drives then uninstall karpersky replace it to avira when your hard drive is clean from viruses...

I had Avira, too. It's a good program but something got by it and I had to have my hard drive wiped and reloaded. I did everything you did, too, and nothing helped. I hope you don't have to do what I did. I knew something was wrong when I tried to update my Avira and I couldn't access ANY computer security site. It wouldn't even let me install a security program I bought in a vain attempt to take care of it myself. Good luck.

Internet Explorer and the Microsoft Messenger are what is causing it. I can't even use IE on my computer and it is so screwed up it effects my Fire Fox. I just reformatted my Hard drive and reloaded XP Pro on it and it is a little better but still has a serious problem.
A friend of mine that is quiet a computer expert told me to get my Fire Fox on CD and then format and reload XP. Then just load the fire fox off the CD and never open the IE. He also said some of the problem is also with Outlook Express email program. It and IE work together. I know one thing. It is very disgusting to try to link to a page on the net and you get the little window pops up that says IE has a problem and is shutting down.

Don't you use pop up blocker with IE or firefox?
Another question is that which version of IE do you use because I have used IE8.0 beta and it had the tendency of crashing every now and then.
I don't think Avira has anything to do with it because it is only causing problem with browsers only.
Try clearing all the history and cookies from your system. May be you can try creating one more user and start working with that user. Sometimes a new user can solve the problem.
