What is the best laptop available for the money?

Mu laptop is a Gateway, and it is the first one I have ever owned. The others were compaq's. They are ok, but I like my gateway much better. It has everything on it I need and has a big enogh hard drive that I won't fill it up to fast unless someting happens, and I have had to reformat it once when it was just a couple months old. It hsa workde fine since then. So, to answer your question, it really all depends on what you want and need and what brand you really like. I don't know all that much about brandds anyway lol. I have one.My laptop is still new and do not need fan cooler.I bought compaq laptop hewlett packard brand.I want to buy acer brand but my father bought this one without ask me.Then i found better use this than acer because i need to use fan cooler.

I got a HP pavilion dv6000 6 months ago it's my 3rd HP and I've enjoyed everyone of them price wise their in line with the rest and I've never had any problems with any of them. When I first got this one I was worried about Vista, I wanted XP but it wasn't available and my fears were unfounded, it took me a few days to tweak it my liking but for the last 5 months it Rocks. I have over 300 songs and at least 500 photos on it and it's fast as can be. I also use skype on it, and it stills rocks! tdemex
