do you ever daydream whilst friving and then think.... my god how did I get here

I was just wondering if this happens to other- do you every day dream and then realise you are really far on your journey but didnt even realise. And then think- how did i not crash by now!

I though that only happend to me. I will be driving home and all of a sudden I am turning into my neighborhood and I cant remember a single thing since a little after I got into the car. Its almost like taking a little mental nap. I wonder how dangerous it really is. Are we really not paying attention?
