Do we think that Jack is going to be a lot calmer and more rational after his near death in season 7?
He had found his peace and was redy to die untill KIm turned up and pretty much gave him a second chance. Does any one even want t go with a long sht and say he's turned his back on everything?

I don't see him changing next season. And, quite frankly, would we like him as much if was calmer and more rational? Plus, would a calmer and more rational Jack be as willing to go as far as he goes now for answers?

I agree. The next season just wouldn't be the same if Jack were calm. That intensity is what makes the show. He has that do what it takes attitude. If he were calm, it might as well be like any other show about cops and terrorists.

I think it will be same old jack, but the truth is he is rational if you watch it closely you can see that those decisions he makes are for the "greater good", most of the time. He has an ability to disregard his and others lives to save more people. Like he said the people on the bus is his goal and he would do anything.

Nah....I doubt he will walk away from everything. He may attempt to do that, but they will find some reason to bring him back to save the world, and after much arguing over it, he will give into it, and go back to them.
