Why do you want to keep a pet ?

i alway ask my daughter why she want a pet when she don't even know how to take care of them , and she was alway busy with her school homework and not much time left too . she will play with her little hamster when she has time , a few day ago, her hamster pass away and she wanted to buy a new hamster . i was thinking whether to buy anot, because we still have a dog, a tortoise an d a big tank of fishes .

Pets can help ease loneliness. Even if you have great parents or friends. Sometimes you just want to talk to something that won't respond with words or criticism. Plus pets are fun and teaches a person a lot of responsibility. Sometimes all you need is a 10 min breather. A pet is good for that.

Owning a pet is not just by playing with them. There are some responsibilities exist, like taking care of them... feed them, bathe them, groom them, clear their mess, show them care, etc... and play with them of course. Having a pet needs to spend a lot of time.
