Yesterday, there was a stray dog at my front yard. My mom invited the dog for some food to feed him. He likes it. My sister wants to adopt it, since it was so cute. I totally rejected the idea. We don't have much time to take care of a dog. And we are not sure whether this dog is belonging to someone else or not. Maybe it just ran off. We can't risk to take someone's property away. So, after we fed the dog, we sent him out. Hopefully, he will find his way home soon.

adopting a stray dog at home is like snatching the freedom of the dog. Better lt it go...

I probably would've been like your sister and want to keep the dog. I of course would take it to the animal shelter to make sure it has all of its shots and whatnot and put out flyers...but if no one claimed the dog I would definitely keep it. If he had a collar on I'd say bring him home but it sounds like he didn't.
