R daugher more caring and loving then son?

it always says ke duaghter love/care and scarifice more than son. but when it come to preference every one prefer son. he get extra ordinary treatment but still daughter return more even wht she has nto given

Yes i agree to you for that, because i notice it in our own home,because i am always do all the chores in the house and especially care and love my parents,from there food to their favorite coffee and washing their clothes, because it is a necessities to the daughter to help their parents and care for it, the skills of the daughter is more than a son,sometimes the son is much lazy than the daughter.

This is not the case in my hubby's family, my hubby is the only son in his family and he has two elder sisters, he is the one who did all the housework when he was small, that's very strange in our country. But he never complaint a word on it, he said he have an ability to help others and then he did it. So after we got married, he still share the housework with me and he does a lot.

Does it real that people in the west think that way too? I only think people in the east would prefer sons than daughters, I am a Chinese and I prefer daughters little bit more, and I agree with some of my friends that no matter sons or daughters we still love them. The reason I prefer daughters only because they love and care parents more, but if I can have a son like my hubby, I think sons can be really good as well.

Yes, I accept that the girls are more loving and caring than sons' but the fact that the son is prefered child in the house is also not wrong..
I basically feel this is the culture followed only in India, and i personally feel that there should be no such distinguishment between the 2, both should be considered at the same level and same amount of love should be give to the child wether a girl or a boy..
