Do you always mark a best response?

Almost all of my discussions don't have a best response. Do you always choose one response to be the best? Are there people here in mylot who don't even choose a best response? Sometimes it's so hard to choose just one, especially when many people responded yo your discussion, so I'd rather not choose.

Hi Beamsey, I will try to choose a best response, even when there are more than a hundred responses to my discussion. It is impossible to make everyone happy, but i will try to mark one best response to make someone's day. In lieu of best response, I will mark + to most of the people who join the discussion, as a mean to thanks them for their comments.

I never thought of marking a + to everyone who responded. :) That would be nice. I'd do that right now.

I chose my best responds after a week, because it is necessary to chose and it is in the rule,the people that i chose my best response, should posses this quality,be true in their comments, their comments should posses a good quality, and i will learn a lot with his or her responses.

HI Beamsey: I always try too but I must admit I do forget about it a lot of times; sometimes its hard to choose when there are several good responses but eventually I do try to get around to doing them;

I always forget too. :) I just went through all my discussions yesterday and picked one best response so I don't have any unresolved discussions anymore. Except the ones that didn't get any response. =\

no,I don't choose a best discussion until I find the one which really deserves to be the one in my view.but I feel really good when someone chooses my response as the best.

yes if the response has really answered my question or have given me something to think about. i do agree with you that sometimes it's so hard to choose just one especially when there are so many responses, and plenty of good ones... if ever i have marked a best response and there are still more responses coming, whichever it is that i feel is really a good response i rate +.

I have been trying to mark them off but only really found out about them a few days ago. I am still new here to mylot. I think i am here about 11 days now. Does that increase someones ranking?

I don't really know if it increases someone's ranking but I think it increases someone's earnings for that day.

I always forget to mark a best response but sometimes I'll go back and read the comments a month later and then mark one. I bet the people are surprised to get a best response from so long ago. haha

I have only started a few, and never really got responses to give best response. I usually just post replies to discussions, as it doesn't take as much brain power to think of what to say as it does when you start discussions lol. People do feel happy though when they are given a best response, as they feel like maybe they said the right thing to get it. I know for me, it makes me very happy as I never expect to get them. I just post what is from my heart and if I get it great, and if I don't then that is ok too. I just do my best and hope for the best and that is all that anyone can do. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I'm still starting here and I will choose best responses when I think the discussion I've started has pretty much run its course. I think it is courteous to select one but not before they has been sufficient response. I had not thought to give people pluses. Probably should pay more attention to that. A lot of people make a real effort to make a helpful intelligent comment.

It wiser for you to choose one, it is not only about make other people happy, but also good for you too. Don't you know? if you choose best answer, or just rate someone else respond it could become reputation booster at myLot. The highest your reputation, the most people respect you, in the end more people will respond to your other discussion, or mark you as a best responder.

well, there are those responses that just stand out from the rest, just really well thought out, planned and distinctive from all the other ones. I'd just pick those that would provoke the most discussion under their initial response...

I don't choose a best response because if I do the people who are trying to make me give them the best response will stop writing in those topics ... so my topics will be no more active ...
