Hi Alireza, since I am Scottish there can only be one answer to your question. My favorite poet is Robert Burns. He stands "weel abin em aw"(well above them all) as far as I am concerned.
The song "Auld lang syne" which is known all over the world and played at new year or at the end of big parties, weddings etc. was written by him. His writings are in the old Scots dialect and not easily understood by non Scots although strangely enough he is very popular in Russia. This year on January 25 was the 250th anniversary of his birth and Scotland is throwing a year long party.
