What do you expect in a courtship?

Hi there mylotters :) I'm not really inlove or what, but the next time I will be I wanted to be cautious of what's in and what's not. How do you find a successful courtship? What do people mostly expect in a courtship?

I expect to know a guy more - for me to see what his real intentions are + for me to gauge if he's really serious about me. I'm not an easy person to court because I wait til such time that I know that a guy is not merely putting his best foot forward.
