Now a days children are fond of out door and recreational activities, I feel they are too smart at science but too weak at mathematics, Its very difficult for them, My own daughter calls it Mental maths, she is fond of science and its the art which is her best!

Well, I used to think that way untill I got married. After marriage I found that my wife is very intelligent in mathematics. So, I think it's wrong to say that girls are dumb at mathematics.

If there are more girls that do not do well in math it is because they do not get enough support from their family and teachers. If your goal in life is to be a stay at home mom (absolutly nothing wrong with that) Then why do you need calculus? But if youa re encouraged to learn everything and have help then no matter if you are male or female you will become bettter at the subject.

huh?
My daughter is about to turn seven and knows how to multiply, not by multiplication table but by properly calculating the answers. She is a math whiz and can easily pick up any math concept I throw at her. I think generalizations like you are stating are silly and pointless.

I dont think that girls are dumb in mathmatics. My daughter is 8 and math is her strongest subject. It comes very easy to her. I was also very good in math. IN high school I always had 100% average in math.

I do not think intelligence is gender specific or gender limited. Each person has their own intellectual makeup and should not be limited based on their gender. There are some males who are very good in mathematics, as well as females. By the same token, there are some males who are very weak in mathematics and even science but excell in English and History! Each person has their own makeup. A blanket statement is not fair nor is it true about either gender!
