I took a college entrance test this afternoon!
I graduated from university 8 years ago. I've had jobs in line with my degree but the last one I had was teaching ESL to Koreans. I stopped working as my husband and I had to go back to our province. Now that I have a lot of free time, I thought of taking Education courses and take the License Exam for Teachers next year. I have to earn 30 Education units before I could take that exam.
Now as for the entrance test, I found it a little hard especially the questions in Math. It's been a loooooong time since I'd been out of school and I think my brain cells aren't that good in calculations anymore... Gee, I hope to at least get an average score from that test.
How about our college/university students here, how did you feel about your entrance test? Was it easy, average or difficult?

The last time I took entrance tests was around 4 years ago. I don't think they're very difficult, and that actually was the problem. If everyone found them easy, then there's a lot of competition for the slots in the university!

I guess being out from school for 8 years made that entrance exam a little difficult for me. But you're right, if entrance exams were easy, competition for slots rises. Some universities would like to maintain a reputation of admitting only intelligent students so entrance exams are really made difficult so they accept only those they think deserve to be in their schools.
