if i could i would take some. i know you got a bad hip have you tried goin to a swimming poool and swimming, or just a little walk would help shift some. Or go to a gym sit in a steam room see if you can sweat some off. Other than that just try and do stuff around the house that make you sweat cos when you sweat it shows your losing weight.

First you have to look at what is making you gain the weight and to know that alot of stress can in fact make it alot harder to lose weight. Well, your hip my cause you problems but every little bit of exercise helps. Use things to help your arms and upper half of your body since you are a apple shape. They are alot of exercises out there that can be done sitting down. Also just walking as far as you can and turning back can help also. Need to cut back on the calories also since you don't get any exercise so that all turns to blubber. So try to east healthier and keep track on the intake of calories. Since you don't do any exercise 900-1000 calories might be what you need to do to cut back. Chew gum if you can and even if it is playing ball with your daughter by tossing it around that is some form of exercise..so hope that helps. You might want to also check out the negative calorie foods. Good luck.

That's just what everyone thinks too..Diet food cost to much..well what they aren't thinking of is that they are getting healthy and that while on a diet that they aren't eating as much food so that the cost almost averages out to be the same as junk food when it is eaten in moderation. Heck yeah I'll play ball..Me and little sis loves it. I got a big ball and a small one and that is how I lost weight last summer. We would sit on the floor and roll the ball back and forth but leaning forward to do it and then back..then we would sit back to back and I would reach the ball around to her and she would grab it and then I would twist to the other side to get the ball from her there is alot of exercises that can be done while on the floor that can help and even using a chair can help. You just have to have the umptt..to do it and keep at it. You know me.. I can shop and get great deals and I am a number one shopper..We can get together to make a menu then a list and go shopping it is easier to shop when you know ahead of time what you want or need. I also just printed off some coupons for you since I know you love your yogurt..and for a few other things. Coupons are a big help for me and can be for you too.

My fiance and I drink slim fast and eat yogurt. It's helped us lose about 7 lbs so far. It's the optima slim fast that is supposed to keep you without being hungry for four hours. We don't get hungry for about four hours.

I have tried slimfast but it still makes me feel hungry if I just drink something. Maybe it is a mental thing for me..I don't know. I also found out I was allergic to it. So it caused me to gain since I was bloating..I lost more weight cutting back on fats eating yogurts, fruits(no canned),salads, and fresh or frozen veggies(no canned)

Someone I know who has had a problem with her leg has started to use a vibro plate. It is normally used by people to tone their muscles in a shorter period of time than the gym. I think a session lasts about ten minutes and you have to do 4-8 sessions a day for weight loss. If you just stand on it I think it is suppose to help improve circulation, increase your metabolic rate, (thus meaning you should burn more calories), and strengthen your conective tissue. It is also suppose to be great for fat loss. They are quite expensive to buy, but I think a lot of gyms have started using them. My friend hasn't been using her's that long, 3 or 4 days, but she says it is helping.
A cheaper alternative would be to take up swimming. This is less strenous on your body than other exercise and can be very relaxing.
Making sure you stick to a low calorie diet is the most effective way of losing weight. Keeping a food diary really helps as it makes you focus on what you are actually consuming. Try to write down what you eat at every meal. Weigh things out and measure the amount of milk you use in drinks. I think most people suggest consuming about 1,200 calories for weight loss and never go under 1000 calories as this can be dangerous.
I caught the end of a program on ten things you need to know about losing weight the other night and it said milk was suppose to be good for removing recently consumed fat from your system. Try semi-skimmed or skimmed milk. Green tea is also used by some dieters. Also have you tried negative calorie foods? These have calories but you are suppose to use more calories consuming these than they contain. There is a list of some of these foods here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Negative_calorie_food
This could b worth a try prehaps?
Good luck with it

I am sorry to hear about your health condition, have you tried eating oats, or oatmeal for breakfast? It can lower your cholesterol level and at the same time make you feel full quickly. Also, I suggest light exercise such as walking in the park, swimming and yoga.
Wildcat, I wish you good luck to you and hope you can achieve a good healthy lifestyle.
