We sit down and discuss things like this ahead of time. We make an agreement on how we will discipline and both of us do the same thing. The thing with children is that you have to have consistency, without it you are sending a mixed message. The two of you should have a heart to heart and agree on what your discipline skills will be.

well at the moment i dont have any children but me and my partner have discussed what we would do if the children were being naughty and we have both decided on no spanking. But when we do disagree we always just let the other one explain why they feel that way about the certain issue.
