Has anyone on here ever been to a group interview? I am looking for a job and have an opportunity with Chic-fil-a and they seem like they would be a nice company to work for. They said that they will be conducting a group interview at 5:00 on Thursday, but I don't exactly know what that means. Obviously I won't be the only one there, unlike a one on one interview, but how exactly do you interview a group of people? I mean it seems to me it would be more like a group information session or a lecture type of thing than an actual interview.

I have been to one. Its exactly what it sounds like. When I went though I wasn't told it was a group interview untill 20 or more people were around me looking at the same person as she explained the job. They dont ask you nothing except they take your name down. Afterwards I think you go speak with the hiring manager who is giving the interview to either accept the job or just walk away. I walked away due to them not offering enough hours. I felt calm with it being a group interview but I rather have a one on one interview.
