Can you help me prepare..........
Hello xparttime1,
Don't worry, your barbeque chicken will be the best that you've ever tasted. Whether you are cooking it outdoors on the grill or inside of the oven all you have to do is first wash the meat off really good. I normally use warm water to do this. Then make sure all of the pieces are cut up into nice sections. Okay once that is done then you can go on and prepare your grill for cooking. I'm assuming that you already know how to get the fire started so I will leave that part out. If you have your fire started then you can put some aluminum foil over you grill. This is just to keep the juices inside. ( Normally I like to use a little foil over the top of my meat as well to keep in the tenderness but it's up to you.) Then don't forget to stick a few holes in the foil with your fork. Just to keep the air circulating. Once you have sprayed your foil using Pam or some other grease. A little dab of margarine will be good to help keep your meat from sticking. But I always use Pam which is good for nonstick surfaces. Okay now you are ready to lay the meat down on the grill. Leave just a little room in between each piece of meat. Then just let the fire start to cook the meat. Make sure that your fire isn't turned up too high. You will want to keep it kind of low or medium heat for best results when you are just starting out. Then you could turn it up higher a little bit later if you prefer. So you then let your meat brown and sizzle for about 20 to 30 minutes on one side before you flip it to the other side. Then once both sides have cooked for about 20 to 30 minutes you can go ahead and slather on your favorite barbecue sauce. Once you've put the sauce on just allow the chicken to cook for about 10 to 12 minutes longer, then flip it over and you are ready to take the meat off the grill and throw on the hotdogs.....For really tasty chicken always sprinkle on a dash of Lawry's seasoning salt. There you have it........ Hope it's yummy and delicious. You could take this recipe and modify any of the steps to suit your own needs. Wishing you all the best. happy Mylotting!
